Single Phase Acid Retarder
Single Phase Retarding Acid is a newly developed acid technology designed for deep-reach Matrix Acidizing. Compared with other retarding system, such as Emulsifed Acid and Polymer Retarding System, Single Phase Retarding Acid has unique advantages on easy pumping and low damage on the formation.
The most important composition in the SPRA system is the surfactant-based acid retarder. It can encapsulate the rock tightly then slow down the reaction between the acid and rock. Meanwhile, the surfactant-based acid retarder can help the flow back process when the acidizing job done. Compared with other retarded acid systems, the SPRA system has no need for breakers since the surfactant has no residue after the acid flow back.
The Single Phase Acid Retarding System could be easily blended on the fly, it contains Acid Retarder, Corrosion Inhibitor, Iron Control Agent, Anti Sludge Agent, Anti Emulsifiers, all the additives could be mixed directly with no special orders.
The SPRA system could help the acid to get more deeper etch on the rocks, with very low dosage compared with traditional retarding systems.
