Product Description

SL-CIHA150 is quinoline quaternary ammonium salt based and the mixture in aqueous solvent system. It can effectively protect pipes or equipment from severe acid corrosion at high temperatures of 300℉ (149℃). It is used in hydrochloride and HCl+HF fluid systems to prevent serious acid corrosion of tubular or equipment.

SL-CIHA150 is a high concentration corrosion inhibitor that can be used in 28% HCl solutions, gelling acid, cross-linked acid and HCl+HF fluid systems.

SL-CIHA150 can provide acid-corrosion protection up to 300℉ (149℃) for as long as 24 hours. The amount of SL-CIHA150 is small, but its effect is very significant. SL-CIHA150 has excellent dispersion in water and acid solutions, resulting in good inhibitor distribution and protection.

SL-CIHA150 can be used for mild steel to very exotic tubulars. It can also be used in most acids such as hydrochloride and hydro fluoride.

Recommended Treatment

The concentration is dependent on acid type, strength, bottom hole temperature, contact time, and additional additives. By adding SL-CIHA150 with the water during the loading operation, the product can be better dispersed in the resultant acid solution.

Packing and Storage

SL-CIHA150 be packed in 55 Gal drums or 265 Gal IBC drums.

Be kept away from moisture and possible damage of the packages in transportation and stored in cool and dry situations.
